Toon Boom Studio 4.5 Tutorial - Glow

So a lot of people ask me to do tutorials.. I don't really know how or what to do. Some people ask about the glow effects I do. It's quite simple really. However; the problem with it is that you can only have circles and rectangles that have teh glow effect. The effect doesn't look so good on the rectangles though cause they are cut off; so a way to go around that is to use semi-circles. I can show how to do that later. But for now, we will make a glowy circle like energy balls (like the ones used in DBZ (ki blasts)).

So to start off, open up Toon Boom Studio and make a new colour by clicking the PLUS sign.
Then click the colour pallete next to the plus sign.
Select gradient and chose radial. The left colour is the inside and the right colour is the outside.
Chose white for the inside and the glow in this case will be a light blue so pick the colour you wish to use.
Now you want to add a couple more colours into the slider so click the white slider and click right beside it to make a new one. Do the same for the blue colour.
Now move the two blue colours to the left side and make the furthest right colour at Alpha 0 so it's completely transparent. That will give the glow effect to the blue colour beside it.

Now close the colour picker. In the drawing view, make a circle and fill it in with the colour then remove the circle outline so you are left with just the fill. Open the colour picker window again and play around with the sliders till you get the look you are happy with.
